About Pre-Primary

We at DSPS understand the essence of nurturing and guiding young minds in a conducive environment where exploration and creativity can thrive. That is why Kindergarten at DSPS is based on the philosophy of learning through play. Designed to stimulate curiosity and foster holistic growth in young minds, we have custom-made our kindergarten curriculum, incorporating many engaging activities and interactive learning experiences. Through this carefully crafted curriculum, we aim to lay a strong foundation for a bright academic future, promoting social and emotional growth.

At DSPS Kindergarten, we prioritise building the essential skills children need — communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and curiosity — guiding them towards academic excellence, lifelong learning, and success.

Our Educators

Faculty & Mentors

Our Pre-Primary faculty are specially trained in early-childhood pedagogy, chosen not just for qualifications but for their warmth and patience with very young learners. They recognise that at this age, every child's individuality matters more than any curriculum — and they guide children to have fun while quietly building the foundations of lifelong learning.

How We Teach

Teaching Methodology

Our curriculum allows exploration, imagination, and creativity, promoting learning across domains and developing mindfulness — fuelled by tapping into a child's natural instinct to play as they discover the world and get ready to attain the required skills.

Our learning programme understands that children enter preschool as skilled learners. We ensure that progression in our activities matches developmental needs, recognising that children's senses should be engaged and stimulated in an environment that supports inquiry and discovery of material, ideas, and feelings — making learning and thinking visible.

We have defined topics with the aim that, together, we find an opportunity to observe, reflect, and create an enabling environment that gives rise to knowledge, understanding, and positive relationships — leading to a feeling of belonging within a learning space that creates a purpose of wonder, awe, and places value on open-mindedness, where learning constantly evolves.
